Kurzfilm Festival Hamburg 2026

The accreditation grants access to all film programs and industry events at Kurzfilm Festival Hamburg and Junges Kurzfilm Festival Hamburg Mo&Friese. Both festivals take place 2–7 June 2026 – and we would be thrilled to see you there.

And we have news: Every year, we do our best to create a welcoming festival experience that meets our standards while keeping costs for visitors as low as possible. To help us maintain this balance, we are introducing a processing fee of 10 € this year for all accredited guests*.

This leads to the following pricing:

Accreditation (50 € including the processing fee)
Student Accreditation (25 € including the processing fee)

*The processing fee also applies for the former free accreditation. However, it does not apply for filmmakers with selected films (2026 and 2025), active team members, guests from partner festivals, sales and distribution agencies, sponsors, partners as well as people who are actively engaged in this years edition such as curators, speakers, artists or partner cinemas.

Please note: Please submit your accreditation including the field „Reason for accreditation" for us to verify your pricing model. We check every accreditation individually. After the request is approved (within a few days), you will receive a payment link. After the payment, you will receive a confirmation mail. The accreditation can be picked up at the Festival Center Post.

Value Statement

We, the team of Kurzfilm Festival Hamburg view our festival as space for artistic freedom and freedom of expression, critical debate and encounters characterised by mutual respect. We consider it our mission to provide everyone with an experience that is as safe and inclusive as possible – free from any form of abusive behaviour or discrimination.

We take a clear stance against all forms of group-based misanthropy, such as ableism, ageism, anti-Muslim hatred, anti-Semitism, discrimination of LGBTQIA+ individuals, classism, racism and sexism, as well as against any and all forms of physical or verbal violence.

We expect ourselves and our guests to approach one another with respect and consideration. We take any incident seriously in which individuals experience discrimination or feel that their personal boundaries have been violated, we listen to those affected and we make great effort to find individual solutions.

In order to implement these values within the festival production process in a sustainable, binding manner, it takes continuous and critical self-reflection on the part of all those involved. We are engaged in a constant learning process, taking in advice and repeatedly adapting our position where necessary. So if you have any questions or concerns, please get in touch with us! We look forward to experiencing the festival together with you on this basis.
